Testimonials Hi everyone, I know some of you wanted to skate, but never really work up the courage to try, here is a good place to learn how to skate. For those that know how to skate, maybe you can refer a friend or two. It is the best skate school in Los Angeles. No, I am not getting paid to do this. This is a "word of mouth," free advertising for that school, simply because the teachers, Janet and Patrick, know what they are doing, they are certified and experienced, they know what and how to teach. They are upbeat, cordial, and fun to be with. They are just good instructors. And, one of their sponsors is Salomon, the best ski & skating boots manufacture. That's the pro endorsing them as the expert instructors. Have fun! :-) ~Ingrid Thank you very much Janet, your customer service is excellent. I referred
someone to your school and I will continue to refer anyone who is interested
in learning how to skate to your school because I feel you run the program
very well and the instructors are just excellent. Just wanted to check in with you and say thanks once again for the Beginner Clinic last month. I progressed!! I am really determined to get good at this rollerblading thing! And with your help maybe I'll be able to skate the strand someday! Your school is great - I recommend it to EVERYONE! When I come to class the next time I'll bring you some Shrek 2 goodies for your baby! ~Thanks again, Carolyn Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed by skating lesson on Saturday at Veteran and Wilshire. The instructors were just fantastic. Their enthusiasm and postive approach really made the class fun. Thanks for bringing together such a talented group of instructors. Your class made my day. I loved it!!!! ~ Regards, Demetra Next to Disney Land, this is the best thing I ever did! Hi Jan, I am in the office today, and decided to pull away from my project and look up your business on the web; pretty impressive. I had no idea what outfit Maureen got us into, but gauging by yours and your instructor's credentials, she found the best. You are obviously extremely successful at what you do, I had no idea, but now that I know, I am in awe of you. I thought we had signed up for a Parks and Rec type of operation, until I met you. Both Maureen and I commented when we left what a great person you were and how wonderful it must be to be able to turn your lifestyle into a business, as you have done. Nice job!! I really enjoyed the lesson, though I must say, towards the end, I was getting frustrated with not being able to master the basics. You're an excellent teacher with much patience, and I should have done better. I am going to try to make the FreeSkate Friday, just so I can get some practice in. It was great meeting you, and I am looking forward to next week's lesson. Have an excellent week. ~Regards, Ed www.WeddingChannel.com Subject: RE: Mattel inline skate clinic. Hi Janet, Thanks for teaching the inline skate clinic. All the participants enjoyed your class and had only good things to say about it. Please send me a list of names of all the participants. I want to keep track of them just in case they are interested in participating in future inline skate or hockey clinics. Thanks a lot. ~Chris Osorio, Mattel Griffin had a skate party last week with 4 of her homeschool buddies. It was great. Many of the Mom's noticed that Griffin always wore all of her gear. Most of the kids here do not and this party was indoors, so most did not wear anything protective. I told them that her skate teacher instilled in her the importance of wearing equipment that she doesn't even consider not wearing it even if she is the only one. So thanks for that training. A couple of Christmas's ago she needed a new helmet and she wanted to have one like yours so she got it from Santa. I think she is the only kid in Louisiana with a silver helmet! You have been an influence on her!! Thanks again for all your great teaching and making learning blading so much fun. With your skills with kids you are going to be a great Mom one day!! Take care ~Kimberly and Griffin I can think of lots of great articles you could write, since I took those
classes from you, and I learned so much from you. Balance, edging and
alignment are good ideas. Also one of the best things I learned from you
is not to bob up and down - that was such a helpful lesson! Dear Janet, I had my first ever rollerblading class with you today, and I had a great time learning something new. It's a surprise to my husband who thinks I can't even skate because roller skating has been hard for me! After at least 4 sessions with you, I am going to surprise him one day and just go skate down the beach with him! :-) I was scared at first, but your class showed me some basics that I can't wait to use (and it was fun, too). Right after class, I went to Sport Chalet and I believe I saw the blades that I used today -- Salomon. Thanks a bunch. I am hoping to get my blades before the next class on Wednesday. Thanks again for the fun. It was great! ~Anne Cormier This is the Life! ~Jessica age 6
