Adult Class Info
Receive instruction at your own level! Classes are for all levels inline and roller skating. After signing in you will learn how to properly wear your safety gear and also get to recognize a safe environment for your skill level. Then we'll spend time on learning how to control falls. After which the rolling begins. Learn proper heel brake stopping, striding, edging and turning. Remember that we'll take it at your pace. For those of you at higher levels of skating skill, we'll continue from where you left off or focus on the direction you would like to go with your skating.

Childrens Class Info
This class is for all levels and ages 4 and up. This class will include games with an emphasis on safety, fun and positive social interaction. Our instructors use skill-building games to teach children the basics of inline skating, including how to stop, glide and turn. Students will learn how to put on their equipment properly and will improve their balance, strength and endurance with challenging tricks, skills and drills. Skates and gear required and provided for class at no extra charge.

Directions - Classes are held in the parking lot outside of Sport Chalet. Sport Chalet is located between Torrance Blvd and Carson St on the West side of Hawthorne Blvd across from the Del Amo shopping center. The California Skate School Van will be parked in the middle of the lot. Please come to the van if you need skates and all gear will be provided at the skating area. - map
