New Skaters - Start from the ground up and learn the rules of the road, safety tips and body alignment. Learn proper heel brake stopping, striding, edging and turning. As your group progresses, we will introduce the spin stop and cover intermediate skills. Remember that we'll take it at your pace.
Experienced Skaters - Do you already know how to skate, but would like to improve your stride, skate down hills and stop with more power? Learn proper body alignment, faster heel braking, and more effective and efficient striding using proper edging. You'll progress to spin stops, cross-overs, transitions, T-stops, parallel turns, hockey stops, slaloms, and backwards skating. Learn real world skating including how to handle curbs, cracks, grass, slopes, bridges, and more. Requests are welcome!
